Snack Time!
Need a delicious snack in jiffy? look no further than this great invention! Celery sticks and peanut butter, so easy to make and sooooo delish!
Organic Celery sticks, rinsed and cut
Organic peanut butter
just smear any amount of peanut butter over the celery stick and enjoy!
Chicken Soup
Have leftover chicken from last nights dinner? then this one is for you!
fully cooked free range/organic chicken
organic carrots
organic celery
salt/pepper
Take your left over chicken, cut into nice sized pieces, and add to pot, add chopped celery, chopped carrots, salt and pepper to taste, add enough water to cook veggies completely, boil until the veggies are cooked, enjoy!
i'm sure my husband will add some red pepper flakes when he has his, you can too! adds a nice kick!

Bruschetta!
Mix in a bowl:
chopped tomato, chopped basil, a small amount of extra virgin olive oil, and a small amount of salt
spread mixture over a nice piece of hearty bread like this!

Common Misconception: Bread and Cheese are bad for you, wrong! but you shouldn't eat them all day long! everything in moderation... we need our fruits/veggies/beans too! gotta feed the brain!

Caprese Salad!
This recipe is soooooo easy, and soooo delish!
1.) place basil on plate
2.) place small pieces of fresh mozzarella on top of basil
3.) place sliced tomatoes on top of mozzarella
4.) drizzle with small amount of balsamic glaze
enjoy!

Walnut/Cranberry Stuffed Brie!
Step 1.) Take a round of brie, and cut it in half, fill both sides with walnuts and cranberries
Step 2.) spread a very small amount of brown sugar over one half of the brie round
Step. 3.) fit both together
Step. 4) roll out one defrosted puff pasty sheet, and then cover your brie round completely, and then add one extra round of puff pastry to the top to keep it all together
Step 5.) bake on 400 until puff pastry is golden brown, don't worry if cheese starts oozing out, this can't be avoided unless you want to try wrapping another pastry sheet around the cheese round

Moong Split Pancakes!
1 cup Moong Split Dal (green color), available at any Indian grocery store
Salt: to taste
1.) Soak the Moong Dal in water for at least a few hours, best overnight
2.) Grind the Dal in a blender until it becomes a nice smooth batter, too much water is not good
3.) Add Salt
4.) add some oil to a pan and spread evenly over the pan
5.) wait until the pan is nice and hot
6.) place a large spoonful of Dal paste on the pan and spread evenly with the back of your spoon in a circular motion
7.) flip pancake and cook evenly on both sides
finished! enjoy!
This is a very delicious and healthy pancake, packed with fiber and protein! I love to eat mine with Mango Pickle! (also available at any Indian grocery store)
Strawberry Milkshake!
1 cup lowfat Organic milk/Soymilk
6-8 Organic strawberries
1tbsp. sugar
4-5 ice cubes
mix all in blender, and enjoy!
TIP: Strawberries should be purchased organic if available, unfortunately the pesticides used on strawberries are almost impossible to "rinse off" with just water

Pear Harvest Salad
10 oz. baby spinach
2 medium pears, sliced
1 medium ripe advocado, peeled and cubed
1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
Dressing:
balsamic vinegar glaze
